Startups SHOULD keep a blog. Why, you ask?

Came across a blog post by a good friend, and blogger Kiruba Shankar, the Editor of Blognation India. This is what the post reads as:

As the editor of a technology news blog, I consciously keep my ears to the ground to find out interesting news to report. I attend events like BarCamps, MobileMondays, Organize events like Proto, Network with CEOs and entrepreneurs, subscribe to news agencies, check business dailies. From experience, I can tell you that it’s the big companies that constantly stream out news about developments while the smaller startups play dumb.

I am absolutely with him on this. Couldn’t agree more. The least PR activity that you should be doing is having a blog and keeping it current.
